NOVEMBER 17 - DECEMBER 15

The mission of the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank is to feed the hungry in Baton Rouge and surrounding parishes by providing food and educational outreach through faith based and other community partners. We are partnering with the Food Bank again this holiday season through the Out of the Box Food Drive! We also have a new opportunity this year to partner with the Christian Outreach Center of Baton Rouge who will deliver over 100 of our boxes directly to families in the Baton Rouge are who are below the poverty line. Be sure to pick up a parent guide with additional information and Scripture to help guide your family through preparing and packing boxes!

Pick up a box from the display in the lobby and fill it with nonperishable items to donate (a list of examples is below). Drop off your filled box on Sunday morning or during the week by December 15th! You can also give financially to the Food Drive by choosing BR Food Bank from the drop-down menu on the Giving form HERE.

♦ 2 Boxes of Mac and Cheese

♦ 1 Box of Pasta

♦ 1 Jar of Peanut Butter

♦ 1 Jar of Jelly

♦ 2 Cans of Chicken

♦ 1 Can of Tuna

♦ 1 Bag of Rice

♦ 2 Cans of Soup

♦ 2 Cans of Vegetables (Corn, Green Beans, Peas)
