The Chapel on the Campus was established in 1972 by a group of people who were concerned for the spiritual needs of students on the LSU campus. They called Donald Tabb as the founding pastor. During the first three years, The Chapel met in many different locations.

Our Mission is to help people Meet, Know, and Follow Jesus on the Campus, in the City, and around the World.

We are motivated to help people Meet, Know and Follow Jesus through a distinct set of values that make The Chapel who we are.

  • We believe Jesus accepts us just as we are, but loves us too much to leave us there.

  • We trust God's Word to be sufficient and relevant to direct everything we do.

  • We commit to being real with God, ourselves and others.

  • We succeed when everyone does their part.

  • We serve a generous God, and our goal is to be more like Him.
