Pervasive Grace

We can do nothing to earn a relationship with God. Our relationship with God is the gift he gives us through his son Jesus Christ. We have done nothing to deserve or earn his favor. His extravagant gift frees us to treat other people without judgment. (John 1:16; Romans 3:23-24; Ephesians 2:8-9)

Whole-hearted Worship

We respond to God’s love. God’s love and grace compel us to worship Him with all that we are and all that we have. (Deuteronomy 6:5; Mark 12:30; Romans 12:1-2; Ephesians 5:19-20)

Biblical Truth

The Bible is true. We do not rely on human wisdom but on the authority that comes through the scriptures. We can only fully understand life when we interpret it through the lens of Scripture. (Psalm 1:1-3; 19:7-11; 2 Timothy 3:16; Hebrews 4:12)

Loving Relationships

We love our sisters and brothers in Christ. Loving others is a telling indication of our love for Christ who set the standard for redemptive relationships. Because of him, we are ready to lay down our lives for each other. (John 13:34-35; Romans 12:9-21; 1 John 3:14-20)

Authentic Community

We are a family in Christ. Jesus called us to care for and serve one another so that we may grow together as He has designed. We will be committed to intentionally meeting regularly with a group of people who know us well enough to invest in our lives. One of the primary ways we do this is in a community group. (Acts 2:42-47; Hebrews 10:24-25)

Strong Families

Discipleship starts in the family. We want to encourage and equip all people to mirror the love of Christ in family relationships. Where the family isn’t strong or is absent, we as a church want to be the family for them. We offer many resources through our Parent Ministry. (Deuteronomy 6:5-9; Psalm 68:5-6; Ephesians 6:1-4)

Gift-based Involvement

Everyone matters in the faith family. The body of Christ is incomplete without the participation of everyone. We need the gifts, talents and abilities that each person has been given by God in order to be the church that Jesus desires us to be. We can help you find a place to serve. (Romans 12:3-8; 1 Corinthians 12:4-11; Ephesians 4:11-16; 1 Peter 4:10-11)

Courageous Leadership

The Spirit empowers us to lead courageously. We want to stand for what is true and train and release leaders who seek to make a great impact for the Kingdom of God in whatever sphere of life God has placed them. The classes offered through The Chapel Equipping Institute will help prepare you. (Joshua 1:9; 2 Samuel 10:12; Acts 4:29-31)

Need-oriented Evangelism

Jesus cares deeply about people’s needs. We will bring the truth of God and the grace of God together as we share Christ with all people—meeting them where they are rather than where we are. Our community outreach opportunities give us a place to live out this value. (John 1:14; 1 Corinthians 9:19-23)

Global Purpose

Jesus is for the whole world. Gospel ministry will not stop until all have heard. Thus, we continue to preach Jesus, send people out, and seek to bring Jesus to all people. You can help reach the world through one of the ways offered in Global Initiative. (Genesis 12:1-3; Matthew 24:14; 28:18-20; Romans 15:20; Revelation 7:9-10)
