Jesus found me as a 16 year kid through the ministry of Young Life. From that point on I've desired to tell people about Jesus. His Grace was overwhelming then, and continues to be.
Coming to The Chapel, like so many college students at LSU over the years, I developed a great love of discipleship and taking the gospel to the world. After marriage and some seminary, I worked with the youth and college ministries of The Chapel during the 1990s. I was a Teaching Pastor in 2002 and from 2010 I've been serving as Senior Pastor at a church that I love deeply and one that shaped me.
I love my family time with wife Mary and family. I enjoy fishing and a good day in the yard. I married my high school sweetheart, and have four wonderful and diverse children.
We desire for The Chapel to continue to be used by God to change lives and transform communities with the Gospel of Jesus Christ for the Glory of God. We desire our church to continue to raise up leaders for Christ's church and God's Kingdom purposes that will serve here and around the world. We desire to see The Chapel be a place where our love for one another and others is the mark that we are followers of Jesus.
