I accepted Christ in 1980 at age 26, shortly after my first daughter was born. I had been attending The Chapel for about a year. It was then that I first understood salvation by grace through faith. Ephesians 2:8-9, 'For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.'
My wife Claudia and I started attending The Chapel in 1979. I have served in Kids Hope USA, Treasure Kingdom, community groups, Deacon Board, and as coordinator for the Dave Ramsey Financial Peace University program.
I am a chemical engineer by trade and own a small business that sells heat transfer and process equipment to the chemical and oil production/refining businesses.
My hobbies are golf and family. Claudia and I have been married for 37 years and I love to travel. We have two married daughters and four grandchildren.
I see The Chapel continuing to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ in Baton Rouge and beyond. I am particularly excited about our strategic location at the LSU campus and The Oaks. The Chapel has a rich heritage of being ambassadors for Christ. Our 3 C emphasis (Celebrate, Connect and Contribute) embodies our commitment to continue to press on.
