You’ve got the map out. “Where are we going?” you, the passenger, asks almost panicked. You can’t remember the last time you felt like you knew exactly where you are. The driver doesn’t really know either. “I feel like we made the right ‘left’ back there, but now I’m not so sure. I think we may be going in the wrong direction.” As the driver says those words, you enter a stretch of road that feels very risky. You blurt out, “this does NOT feel safe!” The driver says “What does the GPS say?” You reply, “remember how it’s broken and you refused to get it fixed? Now look where we are!”
Who do you trust to guide you to a safe place? A place where you can rest; a place you can be refreshed; a place that’s safe, even in a crazy world? The writer of Psalm 23 has asked those exact same questions and has discovered that there is a Shepherd that he can trust. There is a Shepherd he can follow. Join us for 4 weeks as we rediscover God as the Shepherd of our lives. He can be trusted to lead us and protect us and shelter us in the midst of every storm and situation the world can throw at us.
