The Chapel - LSU

What is a Sunday service like?

Our 9:00am and 10:45am Sunday services offer live worship and Biblical teaching that is relevant to everyday life. Listen to some of the sermons in our archives to get a feel for what a service is like. Each service lasts about an hour and fifteen minutes.

We also offer a 7:45am Communion Service that meets in the ICC building next door to the LSU location on Dalrymple Drive. Our College service meets at 7:37pm at our LSU location.

We know what it's like to go to a new place and not know where to go or what to do. We have specifically designed our New Here Tent to help welcome you and make your first experience as smooth as possible. Make sure you start your morning at the purple tent where a volunteer will show you where you can grab a cup of coffee and where our restrooms, children's ministry and worship center are located.

At either location we will have Greeters waiting to greet and direct you. We also have a purple New Here Tent that is just for you! Park in front of the tent and walk to the tent where a volunteer will have a gift ready and waiting for you!

Come as you are! We have no dress code. You will see people in everything from jeans to jackets. We are just ordinary people committed to helping people meet, know and follow Jesus.

Both the LSU and Siegen Lane locations offer special activities for babies, preschoolers and children through 5th grade at 9:00 am and 10:45 am. We offer Chapel Youth during our 10:45 am service at both locations for students in 6th-12th grades. Students will be greeted by engaged leaders and have the opportunity to hang out with breakfast and games before moving into grade-level small groups for a time of teaching and discussion. Of course, you're welcome to bring your kids to worship with you, but they'll probably enjoy our age-level ministries much more!

When you arrive, walk to the purple New Here Tent at the entrance and one of our volunteers will welcome you and help your family get familiar with the facility as well as help your kids get checked in.

All children ages fifth grade and younger receive a security sticker at the Children's Ministry check-in center. The check-in process is quick and easy, and you will receive a secure code that only allows you to pick them up. In addition, all teachers and caregivers undergo a thorough background check before they're allowed to serve with children. Your children are safe at The Chapel! Visit our ministry pages to find out more about our Children's Ministry and Youth Ministry!

what's next?

After you worship with us, we would love for you to join us at First Step! First Step is held on the last Sunday of each month at 9:00am at both of our locations. In this class you'll meet our staff and others who are new to the church. You'll have the opportunity to hear about all of the ways you can get plugged in at The Chapel, from joining a Community Group to serving on a Volunteer Team.
