Local Outreach

As part of proclaiming Jesus, we want to serve the people of our city and surrounding communities with purpose and intentionality. Our prayer is that by reaching out with love and compassion, people will begin to understand God's love, mercy and grace. We encourage everyone, whether as a family or in a community group, to contribute their time and resources through serving.

CAMP IN THE CITY

The Chapel partners with Pine Cove Christian Camp to host a day camp here in Baton Rouge for kids. Our hope is to connect children to Christ through a fun environment. This is a great opportunity to get people plugged into the local church and to serve on mission in your own city.
How you can be involved:

  • Host camp counselors in your home for the week they are in town serving.
  • Help prepare the food daily during camp.
  • Serve as the on-sight camp nurse.
  • Donate scholarships for kids who cannot afford the camp.
