I'm New

We are so glad you found us on the web! We invite you to visit! People often have questions. We have tried to answer a few of them here. To let us know you are coming or to ask more questions, fill out the form to the right.

WHERE CAN I FIND YOU?

We have two locations. The Campus location is on Dalrymple Drive on the LSU Campus. The Oaks is on Siegen Lane between Perkins and Highland. Learn more below and choose the one closest to you.

THE CAMPUS   THE OAKS

WHERE SHOULD I PARK?

Parking for guests at the the Campus location is behind The Chapel, off W Lakeshore. Look for the traffic circle at the intersection of Dalrymple and W Lakeshore. Parking greeters in blue shirts will be there to welcome you, direct you to a spot or assist you with umbrellas or help with the children.

At the Oaks there are several options for parking. If you are bringing children, drive toward the back of the lot and park near the doors to the two story Family Center building. If you are not bringing children, park across from the main entrance, about midway down the driving area.

WhAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Come as you are! We have no dress code. You will see people in everything from jeans to jackets. We are just ordinary committed to following Jesus and proclaiming him wherever he leads us.

WHERE SHOULD MY KIDS GO?

Both the Campus and Oaks locations offer special activities for babies, preschoolers and children at 9 and 10:45 am. Middle school and high school students can attend Ignite at 10:45 am. Pick up a Sunday morning brochure for the location you attend. It will give you specific information and a campus diagram. Of course, you’re welcome to bring your kids to worship with you (but they’ll probably enjoy our age-level ministries much more!).

All children ages fifth grade and younger receive a security sticker at the Treasure Kingdom check-in center. The check-in process is quick and easy, and you will receive a secure code that only allows you to pick them up. In addition, all teachers and caregivers undergo a thorough background check before they’re allowed to serve with children. Your children are safe at The Chapel!

What is a Sunday service like?

Our Sunday services offer live worship and Biblical teaching that is relevant to everyday life. Listen to some of the sermons in our archives to get a feel for what a service is like. Each service lasts about an hour and fifteen minutes.
