In the next 10 years, we are praying that through our GroupLife, God will provide:
A D-Group in every Community Group and a Community Group in every neighborhood.
This is a bold vision that is driven by the Great Commission to make disciples of all nations. We want to reach our city and help people meet Jesus through saturating the city of Baton Rouge with Community Groups that provide a welcoming environment for all people to join. Additionally, as these people meet Jesus in Community Groups, we want to help them know and follow Jesus in the context of D-Groups. As we see our neighbors, coworkers, and classmates meet, know, and follow Jesus, we will send out laborers to the campus, the city, and the world.
Take a moment and look at our vision map below that breaks the city down into 71 neighborhoods. We also have specific podcast episodes that share more in-depth about our vision. We explain how it came to fruition and why we believe it will make a huge difference in our church and city. Lastly, we breakdown each region to show where our groups currently are located and the neighborhoods that we are praying for a Community Group to start in soon.
