Beginning December 1st, journey with us each Sunday morning (and Christmas Eve) through the stories of six men whose lives were radically interrupted and changed by the birth of Jesus. Some readily received the birth of Jesus as an invitation, while others viewed it as an intrusion.
Just like the men who were present at the first Christmas, we all have different experiences when it comes to Christmas. For children, it's an eager expectation of something that just can't get here soon enough! As adults, Christmas can be a sweet time away from work and with family; or it can be a burden of stressful planning, traveling and family conflict. We either look toward Christmas expectantly or maybe, reluctantly.
Regardless of the expectation surrounding the birth of Jesus, His entrance into the world impacted everything and is an invitation for us all!
